Data deletion instructions

This page explains how to have data removed from CardGPT, a service of In Out Green. It also serves as the user data deletion information required by Meta for apps that use the WhatsApp Business Platform.

If you are a printing business (CardGPT customer)

1. Delete an order: in the app, open the order and choose delete. The order's details and generated files are removed; anonymised counts may be kept for statistics.
2. Delete a customer: removing a customer deletes their personal details and all their orders' files.
3. Close your account: email cardgpt.in@gmail.com from the owner's registered email or mobile number with the subject "Delete my CardGPT account". We delete all workspace data within 30 days, except records we are legally required to keep for tax and accounting.

If you are a family whose details were entered by a printer

Your card printer controls your order. Ask them to delete it in CardGPT, or write to cardgpt.in@gmail.com with the printer's name and your details; we will verify with the printer and delete the data within 30 days.

WhatsApp messages

Messages that staff send to the CardGPT WhatsApp number are stored with the related order and deleted on the same schedule as that order. To delete them sooner, include the phone number and approximate dates in your request.

What we keep

Invoices and payment records (required by law), and an anonymised audit trail that no longer identifies any person.
